Eleventh meeting of the Transpennine Topology Triangle

Department of Mathematics
University of Manchester
Wednesday November 26th 1997

This will be a workshop meeting, arranged primarily for the Triangle to fulfill its stated mission of facilitating its joint research programmes. There will therefore be only one formal talk, together with a discussion of subjects of current interests to participants. There will be the usual opportunity for general discussion.

We expect to visit a local curry house (or similar) early in the evening.

Anyone who wishes to participate is welcome: we shall operate the usual arrangements for assistance with travel expenses. We expect to assemble for tea and coffee in the Brian Hartley Room, floor 6, at about 12 noon, and again after the second talk. Please email Nige Ray nige@ma.man.ac.uk (or John Greenlees j.greenlees@sheffield.ac.uk, or John Hunton jrh7@mcs.le.ac.uk) if you are interested, so we can make approximately the right amount of tea and coffee.

How to get there

If you don't know how to find the Mathematics tower on Oxford Road, there is more information at University of Manchester, Department of Mathematics Homepage
The meeting is partially supported by a Scheme 3 grant from the London Mathematical Society.
