This will be a working meeting, arranged primarily for the Triangle
to fulfill its stated mission of facilitating its joint research
programmes. There will therefore be only two talks,
plus the usual time for participant discussion.
Since the meeting coincides with the
NW Dynamics Seminar, participants
will also have the chance to broaden their dynamical education.
11.00 AM (Room 2.09): Neil Boston, (University of Leicester)
``On the representing spaces for mod p KU-theory''
3.15 PM (Room 9.05): Simon Willerton, (University of Edinburgh)
``De Rham homotopy theory and Vassiliev invariants of pure braids''
Anyone who wishes to participate is welcome: we shall operate the usual arrangements for assistance with travel expenses. We expect to assemble for tea and coffee in the Brian Hartley Room, floor 6, from 1030AM until the first talk, and again after the second talk. Please email Nige Ray firstname.lastname@example.org (or John Greenlees email@example.com, or John Hunton firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested, so we can make approximately the right amount of tea and coffee.
